Daughter of [[Performer~P424~Aerosmith~aerosmith]] guitarist Rick Dufay, actress Minka Kelly was raised in New Mexico and started her acting career with roles in projects like the movie [[Feature~V326056~State's Evidence~statesevidence]] and with a recurring role on the show [[Feature~V274374~What I Like About You~whatilikeaboutyou[tvseries]]]. In 2006, she was cast as head cheerleader Lyla Garrity on the series [[Feature~V358000~Friday Night Lights~fridaynightlights[tvseries]]], a show based on the movie of the same name, about a small town in Texas where high-school football is among the most important things in life. In 2007, she took a role in the [[Performer~P24604~Jamie Foxx~jamiefoxx]] political thriller [[Feature~V349298~The Kingdom~thekingdom]]. She appeared in the romantic comedy (500) Days of Summer (2009) and then reteamed with her FNL creator Jason Katims for his new show Parenthood for a recurring role in 2010 and 2011. In 2011, she had parts in The Roommate and the Adam Sandler comedy Just Go With It and starred in the short-lived TV remake of Charlie's Angels. Kelly tried with yet another series in 2013 on the FOX sci-fi drama Almost Human.
