Actor Michael Angarano achieved two of his most noteworthy roles back to back, as a violin player in the [[Performer~P86179~Wes Craven~wescraven]]-directed inspirational drama [[Feature~V180992~Music of the Heart~musicoftheheart]] (1999) and as the young version of rock journalist-to-be William Miller in [[Performer~P86281~Cameron Crowe~cameroncrowe]]'s semi-autographical seriocomedy [[Feature~V212038~Almost Famous~almostfamous]] (2000). Angarano's subsequent resumé includes supporting parts in such pictures as [[Feature~V284677~Seabiscuit~seabiscuit]] (2003), [[Feature~V301971~Lords of Dogtown~lordsofdogtown]] (2005), and [[Feature~V326475~One Last Thing...~onelastthing]] (2005). On the small screen, Angarano played the recurring role of Elliott, Jack's ([[Performer~P235512~Sean Hayes~seanhayes]]) son on [[Feature~V173518~Will & Grace~willgrace[tvseries]]] (from from 2001-2006), as well as a guest role in the [[Feature~V356297~sixth season~24:season06]] of [[Feature~V257810~24~24[tvseries]]] (2007). With [[Feature~V339829~Man in the Chair~maninthechair]] (2007) -- a gentle, humorous coming-of-age dramedy about an aspiring teenage film director who finds the fulfillment of his dreams from an unexpected source -- Angarano tackled an associate producer assignment and the lead role concurrently.
