Internationally recognized fashion designer Marlene Stewart is also known for her distinctive costuming in a wide range of feature films. Her designs range from recreating the conservative early-'60s attire in [[Feature~V25653~JFK~jfk]] (1991) to the wild, colorful clothing worn by [[Performer~P113376~Patrick Swayze~patrickswayze]] and [[Performer~P66675~Wesley Snipes~wesleysnipes]] in To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995) to the fantasy costumes of The Phantom (1996). Stewart also worked closely with [[Performer~P100711~Madonna~madonna]] during the late '80s, providing get-ups for the singer's live concerts; some of Stewart's designs can be seen in [[Performer~P100711~Madonna~madonna]]'s documentary Truth or Dare (1991). ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
