Actress Louise Currie was signed to an RKO contract in 1940 and spent her year at RKO in such minor roles as the coed chum of [[Performer~P55204~Helen Parrish~helenparrish]] in [[Feature~V55931~You'll Find Out~youllfindout]] (1940) and a bespectacled reporter in the closing scenes of 1941's [[Feature~V9737~Citizen Kane~citizenkane]]. After parting company with RKO, she appeared in a brace of Republic serials, [[Feature~V60093~The Adventures of Captain Marvel~theadventuresofcaptainmarvel[serial]]] (1940) and [[Feature~V132853~The Masked Marvel~themaskedmarvel[serial]]] (1943); played opposite [[Performer~P8287~El Brendel~elbrendel]] and [[Performer~P98694~Harry Langdon~harrylangdon]] at Columbia's two-reel comedy unit; and co-starred in such Monogram extravaganzas as [[Feature~V115750~Voodoo Man~voodooman]] (1944), in which she was reunited with her [[Feature~V55931~You'll Find Out~youllfindout]] colleague [[Performer~P43690~Bela Lugosi~belalugosi]].
