A screenwriter since 1916, Harvey F. Thew spent most of his movie career at Warner Bros. Thew co-scripted [[Performer~P4291~John Barrymore~johnbarrymore]]'s [[Feature~V101136~The Man From Blankley's~themanfromblankleys]] (1930) and [[Feature~V100796~The Mad Genius~themadgenius]] (1931), [[Performer~P10165~James Cagney~jamescagney]]'s [[Feature~V39616~Public Enemy~thepublicenemy]] (1931), and [[Performer~P60775~Edward G. Robinson~edwardgrobinson]]'s [[Feature~V110213~Silver Dollar and Two Seconds~silverdollar]] (1932). Parting company with Warners in the mid-'30s, he went on to work at MGM and Paramount. Harvey F.
