Composer and pop singer Harry Nilsson was best-known for such hits as "Everybody's Talkin'," "Without You," "Me and My Arrow," and "Coconut." Over his career, [[Performer~P163422~Nilsson~nilsson]] wrote songs for a number of groups including the Monkees ("Cuddly Toys"), Three Dog Night ("One"), and other groups. In film, [[Performer~P163422~Nilsson~nilsson]] composed the score for [[Feature~V110479~Skidoo~skidoo]] (1968). His version of "Everybody's Talkin'" was used as the title track for [[Feature~V32558~Midnight Cowboy~midnightcowboy]] (1969). In 1971, [[Performer~P163422~Nilsson~nilsson]] composed the score for the children's animated television film The Point, which provided the hit "Me and My Arrow." A longtime friend of the Beatles, particularly [[Performer~P99330~John Lennon~johnlennon]], [[Performer~P163422~Nilsson~nilsson]] starred as Count Down opposite [[Performer~P112533~Ringo Starr~ringostarr]] in the musical horror spoof [[Feature~V110984~Son of Dracula~sonofdracula]] (1974).
