American playwright Gladys Unger occasionally adapted her works for the screen in the silent era. Unger's stage efforts London Pride and Goldfish were filmed under their original titles, while Starlight came to the screen as [[Feature~V89597~The Divine Woman~thedivinewoman]] (1928). She co-scripted [[Performer~P87147~Cecil B. De Mille~cecilbdemille]]'s first two talkies, [[Feature~V69421~Dynamite~dynamite]] (1929) and [[Feature~V30670~Madam Satan~madamesatan]] (1930).
