Althea Cassidy Biography

  • Profession: Actor
  • Born: Jan 1, 0001
  • Died: Jan 1, 0001

It was flamboyant radio personality Howard Stern who provided Althea Cassidy her 15 minutes of fame in the mid-'90s, when he invited her on to his NBC radio morning show to demonstrate her ability to place an entire 13-inch Polish sausage down her throat and pull it out unscathed. The talent provided her with her second stage name, the Kielbasa Queen. Cassidy's real name is Denise Miller and, before gaining notoriety for her intriguing trick, she was an honor student majoring in adaptive Physical Education at Brookdale Community College. As a result of her exposure on the Stern show, Miller created Kielbasa Queen & Co., an entertainment agency specializing in strip-o-grams and other forms of racy entertainment for all occasions. She made her only film appearance in Howard Stern's autobiographical film Private Parts (1997). ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
